Client: Cumbria Tourism
Project: Cumbria Bike Fest |
The brief: In 2006 Cumbria Tourist Board approached Detail Events and asked for a biking/cycling-focused festival that engaged both the local community's cycling offer and culminated in an event that brought together a truly diverse mix of cycling participants. The Cumbria Bike Fest took place in May 2007 over a week-long period, with a county-wide programme of cycling activities preceding a major venue based cycling festival, headlined by the first English Merida Mountain Bike marathon. Detail were engaged on the execution of the event and provided full event production services across the full event week as well as full pre-production work over the preceding 6 months. |

| This approach is echoed with many clients and currently we are engaged on event production briefs on behalf of brands, public sector clients and charities as well as educational bodies. We work from the concept up and everything in between, or we implement your concept on your behalf. Current clients include Sport England, Discover Leisure, The Anthony Nolan Trust, Scottish Borders Council and Cumbria Tourism. |
