Rat Race Australia 2009
City of Perth - November 7/8 (Forrest Place, CBD)
Melbourne - November 28/29 (Waterfront City, Docklands)
Perth is a brand new Rat Race location and the action kicks off Down Under on 7th and 8th November in the Capital of Western Australia. The Last weekend of November (28th/29th) will then see the Rats unleashed on Melbourne once more. The aim there is simple; to outdo last year's course with more surprises, more adventures and an absolute gem that the course planner is keeping very close to his chest. Who says Rats don't live on the edge? Oh and by the way, an all female team from the UK is coming after hearing the bragging banter from their countrymen after last year who won the race. What a disaster it would be for the Aussies to lose the Ashes and Rat Race to us in the same year. They will be making sure this won't happen with some stiff competition expected for the silverware.
November is Rat Race month Down Under so lock in the dates, buy that flight, get that bike bag and convince your mates to be join you on the other side of the Earth! Early bird entries are available now for both cities - so get in quick for the good deal. For all info - go to www.ratraceaustralia.com.au

Other events from the Rat Race Crew: Adventure Racing, Urban Assault Course and Mountain Biking
If you've enjoyed your Rat Racing this season and are baying for more, you don't need to wait until 2010 come the end of September, as the Rat Pack are busy knocking out events into the Autumn. Pre-London, our Scottish 'Wan Day' Adventure race (www.scottishadventureracing.com) and our brand new Stramash Freeride event (www.stramash.com) both take place on the weekend of the 19th and 20th September. And following the London season finale, the Rat Pack return to Edinburgh in October, alongside Nottingham and Cardiff, for the awesome 'urban assault courses' of the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest, (www.mhsurvival.co.uk), all 3 of which are powered by the Rat Race. These events involve 10km of punishing urban running with a full-tilt obstacle zone thrown in, at each kilometre. Events take place in Cardiff on 4th October, Notts on 10th October and wrap up in Edinburgh on 18th October. Only the Fittest will survive.
Rat's all for now. We'll see you in Galway, London or Australia!
